Tom Pettty Tickets | Freefallin' with the Heartbreakers

The Gainesville wizard, Tom Petty, has been a hero of mine for a long time, and I am a seasoned Tom Petty concert tickets hunter. I remember the first time I heard him; it was in my car. My girlfriend brought a tape along. We took the highway out into the country and were whizzing along a winding road with the windows down. She threw the cassette into the slot, and the first lyrics and strummings of "Freefalling" came out of the speakers at me at volume setting 10:

As the tune gathered momentum and took us into the blue sky, I knew this was timeless rock and roll. By the time Petty was singing about vampires on Ventura Boulevard I was hooked; we flew down those empty roads, enjoying the stone walls and vibrant green fields and trees flashing by, replaying the album again and again. That was a warm spring day a decade or three ago, but any Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers fan will tell you that his music haunts the subconscious like a wispy ghost and refuses to leave. Imagine my reaction when I heard about the Tom Petty 2008 North American Tour; I wanted to go buy Tom Petty tickets right away. That's right, tickets to Tom Petty, the guitar-god of Gainesville, the guy with the shades and the long hair, the cool dude who made it OK to want to chill out and waste years in the sun, kicking up the sand and hanging with the snowbirds. As I find more info and news on this Tom Petty 2008 North American Tour I will post it here, along with news on Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers tickets. As far as I know, the schedule is kind of set now, and it is a rip-roarin' trek for sure. The band will be hitting plenty of great spots across the country, and I'm in the process of calculating - triangulating trigonomically - how exactly I can attend as many of these events as possible. Nobody said it was gonna be easy, but Tom Petty tickets to the 2008 North American Tour must be obtained and used with care.
